A cemetery (also called graveyards, burial grounds, and tombs) is a place where the deceased are buried.
Cemeteries date back to Native Americans and other native cultures. Since cemeteries have a high association with death, they are often thought of as a place for hauntings to occur. In addition to having the dead there, many hangings took place in the graveyard to speed up the burial process. Around the heat of the American Civil War, many deaths of soldiers and innocent freemen were hung. Many lost souls wander cemeteries for different reasons. Although spirits are often thought of as evil, there are benign spirits like Grancer Harrison.
