Loon Creek is a creek in Boise, Idaho.
Manuel Sato was making breakfast for himself one morning in 1870 when an unknown robber mauled him with a knife. It is believed that the robber had robbed a bank and buried his loot near the site of Sato's murder. Fort Boise sent soldiers to recover the robbed money, but encountered the ghost of Sato.
The ghost of Manuel Sato has been seen leading a pack of mules. He is known to walk around the hills near Loon Creek, and he has done so since 1870.
- Loon Creek's haunting seems more credible due to the fact soldiers witnessed the ghost of Sato in the 1800s.
